'Petite Fête Rustique - The Morning We Were Shepherds' - a digital EP with all the music from the book "The Morning We Were Shepherds" for the whole family to enjoy at home and on the go.

Take the little ones by the arm and jump into the musical adventure 'The Morning We Were Shepherds', which tells the story of a little shepherd boy who loses his flute in a stream, captivates a court and becomes the center of a grand fête champêtre.

Concerto Copenhagen plays virtuoso Baroque music in this tale of one of the great fascinations of the Baroque era, the shepherd's life, and how two different worlds are attracted and influenced by each other and must necessarily merge to achieve perfection. The music is by French and English composers including Jean-Baptiste Lully, Jacques Aubert and John Playford

'Petite Fête Rustique - Den Morgen vi var hyrder' is the music for the picture book 'Den Morgen Vi Var Hyrder', written by illustrator and author Tea Bendix together with musician Poul Høxbro. The book was published in collaboration between Carlsen and Concerto Copenhagen in 2016.
